Coinbase Prime Opens Options and Perpetual Futures to U.S. Institutions

Coinbase Prime has launched regulated global options and perpetual futures trading for eligible institutional clients in the United States and other qualified jurisdictions, giving U.S. firms access to the same liquidity pool used by global traders. Deribit supplies liquidity for the service. The offering supports more than 20 crypto assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Avalanche (AVAX) and Hyperliquid (HYPE). Clients can use BTC, ETH and USD Coin (USDC) as collateral. Coinbase Prime plans to add more collateral assets over time.
