CME Crypto Contracts Average $7.85 Billion in Daily Notional in October

CME Group’s cryptocurrency contracts averaged 145,000 a day in October, with an average daily notional value of $7.85 billion. Across asset classes, CME Group averaged 30 million contracts a day, 15% above October 2025 and higher than its previous record of 26.3 million. Interest rate products averaged 14.8 million contracts a day. Equity index products averaged 8.8 million, energy products 2.7 million and agricultural products 2.1 million.
