The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) approved the formation of 花旗证券（中国）有限公司 in Shanghai on Friday, Oct. 23, with registered capital of 1.2 billion yuan and an approved scope spanning four securities businesses. The firm’s business scope includes securities brokerage, securities investment consulting, securities underwriting and sponsorship, and securities proprietary trading.
