Chainalysis Hit by AI-Assisted Cyberattack, Customer Details Exposed

The firm paid to trace stolen crypto now says someone got into its own systems. Chainalysis said it detected an unidentified attacker using “offensive agentic techniques” to access its systems and internal tools in October. The company described it as an incident “similar to many other tech platforms in recent weeks”. Chainalysis outlined which customer details were exposed in its 30 October notice: Some non-sensitive customer data, such as user IDs, full names, email addresses, and organization role labels for users provisioned on our platform were accessed.
