A cryptocurrency platform that began offering payments at a downtown Las Vegas casino earlier this year, has expanded onto the Strip with several other casinos expected to go live in the next few weeks. BurraPay deployed its cryptocurrency payment platform at the Sahara resort last month, making the property the first on the Las Vegas Strip to allow customers to exchange cryptocurrency for chips or tickets to gamble on the casino floor. The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) approved the system earlier this year, allowing the company to operate within the state’s regulated gaming industry.
