Cardano has become the talk of crypto town as it pushes for a dedicated internet domain, while soaring whale activity and rising social interest suggest momentum around ADA is building again. Taking on X, the Cardano Foundation has acknowledged its application for the .ada top-level domain, which has progressed to the next phase of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Generic Top-Level Domain (gTLD) Program. If given the green light, .ada would give Cardano a place in the global internet addressing system alongside notable extensions such as .com and .org.
