Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson says he is personally developing a new programming language for the blockchain. In an October 18 post on X, he said he was working with a developer to build it. According to him, the proposed tool would help applications carry out users’ requests and provide evidence that the required conditions were followed. That could give Cardano developers another way to build applications, although Hoskinson’s post offered no release date. What would the new language do? Hoskinson described the language as supporting “intents and PCD via Groth16 proofs,” calling it the first of its kind.
