AMD Highlights 5.39-Second AI Video Test on Eight MI355X GPUs

AMD highlighted a Nunchux AI test in which eight Instinct MI355X GPUs completed the measured generation of a 15-second video in 5.39 seconds, putting the model’s output ahead of playback. A five-second clip took 1.33 seconds under the same test conditions. Those measurements include text processing, video generation and audio and video decoding, but exclude final MP4 encoding. AMD highlighted the results Oct. 19. A separate test measured the wait for a finished file. The Nunchux setup produced a 15-second MP4 in 6.49 seconds, while an SGLang baseline using the same prompt and eight MI355X GPUs took 150.5 seconds.
