France-based Capital B, one of Europe’s leading Bitcoin treasury companies, reported a net loss of €69.5 million ($78 million) for the first half of 2026, mainly due to a $75.8 million impairment charge on its Bitcoin holdings. The impairment charge reflected Bitcoin prices as of June 30 and did not result in an immediate cash outflow. Despite the accounting-driven loss, Capital B recorded a 3.5% year-on-year rise in consolidated revenue, reaching $6.5 million for the reporting period. However, the company’s adjusted EBITDA stood at negative $1.2 million, signaling that operational earnings before non-cash items and financing costs remain in deficit.
