Blur will deprecate its blur.io frontend on Nov. 12, 2026, while keeping its underlying marketplace protocol operational on-chain, marking a major change for one of Ethereum’s NFT trading platforms. The BLUR token fell as much as 29.1% in 24 hours to $0.01341. Separate daily market figures listed an Oct. 12 low of $0.01386 and a close of $0.01393, compared with an opening price of $0.01920. The shutdown applies to Blur’s user-facing website, not the smart contracts that run its marketplace. The BLUR token will retain control of the protocol’s fee switch. The same deadline applies to Blend, Blur’s lending product.
