Bittensor Launches eTAO to Let Subnet Owners Set Token Payouts

Bittensor has launched eTAO, allowing subnet owners to set how newly issued alpha tokens are divided among owners, validators and miners under limits designed to protect root-network stakers. The previous default sent 18% of a subnet’s alpha emissions to its owner, 41% to validators and their stakers, and 41% to miners. Owners can now assign themselves 0% to 33%, give validators up to 50% and leave miners at least 33%. Subnets created through a lease must keep at least 18% for the owner.
