Bitget Agrees to Acquire Licensed Thai Exchange Through BTGT Investment

Bitget has agreed to acquire GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics, a licensed digital asset exchange operator in Thailand, through an investment in BTGT Management. If approved, the deal would expand Bitget's regulated presence in Southeast Asia. The agreement does not complete the acquisition. The planned investment in BTGT Management is the route for the deal, and local regulatory approval remains outstanding. The acquisition therefore depends on approval in Thailand before Bitget can take over the exchange operator. GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics is licensed to operate a digital asset exchange in Thailand.
