Bitcoin Whale Balances Add 84,000 BTC in 30 Days as Weekly Growth Slows

Bitcoin whale balances in a tracked address cohort reached 3.02 million BTC, up about 84,000 BTC in 30 days, while weekly growth slowed and a separate apparent-demand measure stayed negative. The cohort’s balance increased 2.85% over the 30-day period. Weekly growth reached about 55,000 BTC around the turn of October, then eased to 16,500 BTC over the latest seven days. The separate 30-day apparent-demand measure stood at negative 23,000 BTC in its latest reading. It improved from negative 207,000 BTC on Sept. 20 to negative 12,000 BTC on Oct. 8 before falling again.
