Bitcoin (BTC) traded near $77,900 early Monday as crypto futures turnover climbed, while open interest barely shifted, indicating heavier activity without a comparable rise in outstanding positions. At 6:37 a.m. ET (11:37 UTC) Monday, Nov. 2, crypto futures volume was up 56% over 24 hours at $111.8 billion. Open interest held near $137.1 billion. Volume measures trading during a period, while open interest reflects positions that remain open. Liquidations rose 77% to $140.2 million during the same 24-hour window. Bitcoin and Ether (ETH) futures open interest showed little movement.
