Bitcoin (BTC) rose to $84,674 at 5:05 p.m. ET (21:05 UTC) Oct. 21, gaining 2.20% over 24 hours as total crypto market capitalization fell 0.43% to $2.84 trillion. Trading volume over the same period was $84.27 billion. Bitcoin dominance was 59.7%, while Ether (ETH) dominance was 10.7%. Five other named major assets also gained. XRP (XRP) rose 3.82% to $1.38, Ether gained 1.71% to $2,492, BNB (BNB) added 1.27% to $749.65, Solana (SOL) climbed 1.28% to $108.09 and Dogecoin (DOGE) advanced 1.25% to $0.0829. XRP posted the largest percentage gain among the six.
