Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $83,000 to $82,740 at 11:12 a.m. ET (15:12 UTC) on Oct. 20, crossing the threshold within 15 minutes in Binance spot trading. BTC had traded at $83,371 in the earlier spot reading. The $631 difference between the two observations put the first price $371 above $83,000 and the later one $260 below it. The readings place the move beneath the threshold within that 15-minute interval. The $82,740 quote was also 0.31% below Bitcoin’s level one hour earlier. That hourly comparison uses a different starting point from the two prices recorded 15 minutes apart.
