Bitcoin is trading about a third below its all-time high. On October 12, 2026, Bitcoin.com listed the price at $83,700, which is 32.74% under the peak set on October 6, 2025. This article looks at that gap and compares it with earlier cycles. It uses data from Bitcoin.com, Bitbo, Glassnode, CoinShares and Chainthink. A drawdown is the drop from the highest price reached to a later price, shown as a percent. It gives a simple way to compare price moves across 15 years, even when prices were very different. Each section below has a table and a chart.
