Bitcoin briefly traded below 83,000 USDT late Wednesday, with its 24-hour gain narrowing to 0.17%, leaving the asset just under the round-number level at the time of the quote. At 10:19 p.m. ET Wednesday (02:19 UTC Thursday), Bitcoin was quoted at 82,990 USDT. A Monday reading also placed Bitcoin below 83,000 USDT , at 82,981.7 USDT, when its 24-hour move was a 0.17% loss.
