Lightning Labs CTO Urges Updates to Four Node Software Packages

Olaoluwa Osuntokun, Lightning Labs' chief technology officer, urged users of lnd, btcd, tapd and litd to update their binaries or rebuild the software with Go 1.27.3 to address CVE-2026-111943. The vulnerability involves a compromised certificate authority and may affect the security of related software. The recommendation covers all users of the four node software packages.
