Bitcoin (BTC) rose above $84,000 to reach $84,002 at 12:43 p.m. ET (16:43 UTC) on Oct. 11. The price stood at $83,940 15 minutes earlier, marking a $62 increase over that period. Bitcoin was up 0.70% from one hour earlier. The move puts Bitcoin above the $84,000 threshold as the market’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization continues to trade near that level.
