Binance’s AMDUSDT Contract Tracks AMD Shares With Up to 10x Leverage

Binance’s AMDUSDT perpetual contract tracks Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) common stock while giving traders a separate USDT-settled instrument with up to 10x leverage. The contract launched May 6 at 9:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC). It trades 24/7 and settles in USDT, a dollar-pegged cryptocurrency used widely in digital-asset markets. AMDUSDT is not the same asset as AMD shares. Stock-price targets issued for AMD therefore do not directly forecast the price of the Binance contract, even though the derivative is designed to track the company’s common stock. The distinction matters because the two instruments have different trading structures.
