Binance hack leads to $2.25 million in SHIB stolen, 0.05% of supply in limbo

A significant portion of Shiba Inu tokens, nearly 500 billion SHIB or about 0.05% of the total supply, has become the focus of concern following a major security breach at Binance. This amount, valued at approximately $2.3 million, was reportedly transferred to an address labeled “Binance Hot Wallet Exploiter 2”. Binance, recognized as the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, recently faced a security incident described by analysts as the largest hack in crypto history.
