The exchange's French unit will begin charging a monthly fee on unmoved balances starting November 29, ahead of a full account shutdown by December 31. Binance's French subsidiary has notified users that every customer account will be closed by year-end, according to reporting from CryptoBriefing. The closures appear to apply across the platform's full French customer base, rather than to a specific subset of users or account types. Starting November 29, Binance France will begin charging a fee on balances left untouched in accounts, The Cryptonomist reported. The fee is set at 0.025% of asset value per month.
