Binance Told BlockShoals No Philippine User Personal Information Was Affected

BlockShoals Technologies Inc. said Binance confirmed no personal information belonging to Philippine users was affected in the Oct. 29 security incident and that user funds were safe. BlockShoals said Binance told it the exchange would cover all losses through its Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) and company funds. BlockShoals said Binance had closed the attack entry points, rebuilt affected systems and revoked related credentials. The company said withdrawals have been resuming in phases since Nov. 1, while independent cybersecurity firms are being engaged to review the incident.
