Binance Discusses a Licensed Model With Malaysian Regulators

Binance says it has spent 10 months discussing a licensed model with Malaysian regulators as it seeks to return after the Securities Commission Malaysia ordered it to stop local business and marketing activity in 2021. Binance described the discussions with the commission and Malaysia’s central bank as covering whether a licensed business could work and how it might be structured. The exchange did not disclose the specific type of license it intends to apply for.
