Binance 30-Day Moving Average of Small Bitcoin Deposits Falls to 281 BTC

A 30-day average of Bitcoin (BTC) deposits smaller than 1 BTC to Binance stood at 281 BTC on Nov. 3, about 90% below its 2,700 BTC peak during 2019-21. The decline describes one category of exchange deposits, not all activity by retail Bitcoin investors. The figure is a moving average, so 281 BTC is not the total deposited over the 30-day period. The measure groups transfers by deposit size; it does not capture every retail purchase or the amount investors hold. The average rose to about 1,900 BTC in early 2023 after the FTX collapse.
