Bausch + Lomb Names Thomas J. Appio Interim CEO

Bausch + Lomb appointed Chairman Thomas J. Appio as interim chief executive officer effective immediately, adding leadership responsibilities while he continues to lead parent company Bausch Health. Appio became chairman of Bausch + Lomb’s board in August 2026. He will oversee the eye-health company while retaining his leadership role at Bausch Health.
