Asian stocks to rise as oil prices fall after US vote

Asian stocks are expected to see an uptick as oil prices decline, following a recent U.S. vote that raised hopes for a de-escalation in the Iran conflict. Brent crude oil prices have dropped nearly 10% to below $100 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is now under $96. This significant decrease is attributed to expectations that the Democratic congressional sweep could lead to a resolution in the conflict with Iran. The drop in oil prices has alleviated some inflation pressures, contributing to a rise in the S&P 500 and a decrease in Treasury yields.
