A gloomy Intel forecast and fading AI infrastructure sentiment hit the chip designer just before its first in-house processor launches Arm Holdings had no bad news of its own this week. Its stock fell hard anyway. The chip designer dropped 9.97% on October 30, 2026, closing at approximately $205.97. The trigger came from a rival’s earnings call. Intel’s weak fourth-quarter outlook sent a chill across the semiconductor sector, and Arm caught a bad case of it. Intel guided for Q4 revenue between $15-16 billion. That range came in well below what analysts had expected. The selloff fits a wider mood.
