Apple detailed plans Oct. 27 for beta AI assistants in Pages, Keynote and Numbers, bringing tools that work with the open file to subscribers of its Apple Creator Studio service in a November update. The assistants will use Apple models and OpenAI. In Keynote, they can help shape slide designs, add animation and polish presentations. Pages users can get help drafting and reorganizing text. In Numbers, the assistant can run calculations, arrange data, recommend charts and create custom tables. Apple also plans to add Model Context Protocol (MCP) support to the three apps.
