Anthropic’s S-1 Puts Future Revenue Obligations at $10.8 Billion

Anthropic’s Form S-1 puts its remaining performance obligations at $10.8 billion as of June 30, giving investors a view of contracted business not yet recorded as revenue. About 75% of the total is expected to be recognized as revenue during the 12 months after June 30, with the rest recognized later. The timing depends on customer usage because most of Anthropic’s revenue is consumption-based. The total includes deferred revenue and amounts under non-cancelable arrangements that have not yet been recognized as revenue. Separately, Anthropic committed up to $325 million to entities it invests in.
