Anthropic IPO Valuation Expectations Fall to $1.5 Trillion-$1.6 Trillion

Investors preparing to join Anthropic’s planned U.S. IPO have told the company and its advisers they expect a $1.5 trillion to $1.6 trillion valuation after a technology-share slump. The new range is below the nearly $2 trillion figure discussed earlier. It also narrows a $1.5 trillion to $1.75 trillion valuation range from existing investors described in earlier IPO valuation coverage . Anthropic has not finalized its valuation target or the size of its share sale. The Nasdaq fell about 10% from a recent high during the selloff.
