Analysts issue Bitcoin selloff warning and set targets

As Bitcoin ( BTC ) saw over $25 billion wiped from its market capitalization in 24 hours – dropping to roughly $1.65 trillion on October 12, 2026 – analysts sampled by Finbold have warned of mounting sell-off pressures. On Monday, Aksel Kibar, a former fund manager at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, issued a cautionary statement about a potential Bitcoin sell-off as its recent breakout lacks fuel. Kibar stated that Bitcoin’s price could fall further to re-enter a liquidity range between $82,800 and $60,000.
