AMD forecasts about 50% annual growth in server CPU market through 2030

The chipmaker now sees a roughly $220 billion server CPU market by 2030 and expects its own server revenue to double in 2027 Advanced Micro Devices thinks the humble server CPU is about to have a very big decade. The company expects the server CPU market to grow about 50% annually through 2030. It also expects its own server revenue to double in 2027. For a product category that spent years playing second fiddle to AI accelerators, that is quite the promotion.
