Alphabet has launched a seven-tranche euro bond offering, its second such sale in 2026, as the Google parent raises debt to support artificial intelligence investment. The offering follows $20.3 billion in net proceeds from senior unsecured notes issued in the second quarter of 2026. Alphabet’s planned capital expenditures for this year are $180 billion to $190 billion. The company had also raised more than $85 billion in debt over the year before its first-quarter disclosure. The sale comes as major technology companies borrow alongside investment in AI infrastructure.
