Coin Bureau recently highlighted three separate incidents where AI systems protected a combined $190 billion in crypto assets. The XRP Ledger’s Decade-Old Time Bomb The most technically striking discovery came from Veria Labs. Its AI system, Veria AI, identified an integer overflow bug buried in the XRP Ledger’s payment engine since 2015. The flaw could have allowed a single transaction to mint 18.45 trillion XRP, 184 times the token’s total supply of 100 billion .
