Adrian Flux Adds Humanoid Robot Coverage to UK Home Insurance

Adrian Flux and Tokio Marine HCC International announced a UK home insurance policy for household humanoid robots Thursday, Oct. 29, covering the machines and some losses they may cause. Adrian Flux offers the policy to UK home insurance customers, while Tokio Marine HCC International underwrites it. Coverage can include accidental damage to a robot, fire, theft or attempted theft, and sudden damage an insured robot causes to a home or insured belongings. The policy may also cover liability tied to owning the robot and the cost of recovering or safely disabling it after an unexpected malfunction.
