The enterprise AI conversation used to be about what the software can do. This month it is about how fast the proof will arrive. In an October 13, 2026 announcement, Accenture and Workday launched a Forward Deployed Engineering program that embeds engineers alongside client HR and finance teams to get Workday agents into production. The vendor-reported promise is that this approach will help organizations get those agents up and running faster and see ROI on their investments sooner.
