$37.3 Million in USDC Remains in Attacker-Linked Wallets

About $37.3 million in USD Coin (USDC) remained in Ethereum wallets linked to attackers as of Thursday, Nov. 5, after $126 million was withdrawn from three exchanges earlier in the week. Kraken, Crypto.com and OKX were the exchanges involved, with withdrawals recorded on Nov. 1 and 2. The $37.3 million figure is the balance still in attacker-linked Ethereum wallets at the later cutoff. Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, a French banking group, said the attacker gained access through a service provider’s platform, then used the bank’s own account to send funds to other banks.
