A Georgia driver says she has lost $2,400 after trying to buy a $2 bottle of water from a street seller in Atlanta. Monet Swann says a young man selling water walked up to her car window on 10th Street near Techwood Drive in Midtown on October 1st, reports 11Alive. Swann says she agreed to pay through Zelle by scanning a QR code and screen-sharing what she believed was a $2 payment. Instead, she says $1,200 left her account.
