Macau’s casino gross gaming revenue (GGR) fell 10.0 percent year-on-year in October to MOP21.68 billion (US$2.68 billion), according to official data released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ). The result marks the fifth consecutive month of year-on-year declines, although it represents a notable improvement over September, when GGR stood at MOP18.06 billion (US$2.23 billion). The October outcome arrives despite the annual Golden Week holiday in early October, which typically delivers one of the strongest trading periods of the year for the city’s gaming operators.
