Revenue from historical horse racing (HHR) machines in Kentucky rose 4.1% in September. On a same-store basis, the increase was 2.6%, not counting the relatively new Marshall Yards casino. The increase was achieved despite one fewer weekend day than in August 2025 and no Labor Day weekend. The overall gross was $95 million. Marshall Yards, which opened in February, did $1.4 million in business. Its 223 HRMs averaged $206 per day. Despite a 3.1% decline, Derby City was the highest-grossing casino with $18.3 million. Its 1,247 devices averaged $473 daily, the highest per-machine numbers in the Bluegrass State.
