ZetaChain Vote Would Move ZETA to Solana and End Token Inflation

ZetaChain token holders are voting on a plan to shut down the network’s layer-1 blockchain and move ZETA to Solana on Dec. 9, a change that would end token inflation. If approved, ZetaChain’s layer-1 network would stop operating around Dec. 9. Under the plan, ZETA would move at a 1:1 ratio to a Solana-native token, and its minting authority would be permanently revoked. Holders would not need to take action before the migration. About 55 million ZETA in unallocated validator rewards would be burned monthly under the existing release schedule.
