Zcash (ZEC) fell 2.62% in one hour to $1,128 on Binance spot ZEC/USDT at 5:30 p.m. ET (21:30 UTC) on Oct. 17. The exchange reading stood at $1,159 an hour earlier, a $31 difference from the later quote. Over 24 hours, ZEC was down 1.15%, a smaller percentage decline than its move in the final hour of the measured period. Across Binance, Bybit and OKX, liquidations for that hour totaled $840,000 in long positions and $100,000 in short positions. Combined, the liquidations reached $940,000; long liquidations made up the larger share of the recorded total.
