Yemen Clashes Bring Local Gains Near Al-Labanat Without Shifting Control

Yemeni government forces have made localized gains near Al-Labanat camp in Al-Jawf Governorate, while Houthi forces retain significant territory in western Al-Jawf and northern Yemen. The local advances have not produced a decisive change in territorial control. The Saudi-led coalition supports Yemeni government forces in a wider campaign against the Iran-aligned Houthis. Al-Jawf was among the governorates targeted in the coalition campaign . Market-implied odds of Houthi forces entering Aden by Dec. 1, 2026, stood at 14.5%. The contract concerns a possible move into Aden, a separate outcome from territorial control in Al-Jawf.
