This marks a 119.6% increase compared to the previous day. The figure is significantly above the 30-day average of 601.9 million XRP, indicating a sudden return of network activity after a period of stagnation. Despite this notable spike, the all-time high for daily payment volume remains much higher at 7 billion XRP, suggesting that current levels, while robust, are still far from record territory.
