XRP Options Price an 8.7% Move Through Nov. 8 as Volatility Premium Leads Majors

XRP options are pricing an approximately ±8.7% move through Nov. 8, matching Solana for the largest expected seven-day swing among four major crypto assets tracked by Coinbase Markets. The more notable signal, however, is how far XRP’ s options pricing sits above its normal historical movement. Coinbase data places XRP’s median seven-day absolute move at only 4.9%, meaning the current 8.7% implied move carries roughly a 1.76x premium to its historical median. Coinbase identified that as the widest relative premium among XRP, SOL, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.
