XRP long positions on Bitfinex reach 5.07 million as price hits $1.35

A sharp increase in XRP long positions has been observed on Bitfinex, with traders holding 5.07 million XRP in anticipation of further price appreciation. Cryptocurrency commentator John Squire highlighted the surge and the heightened market attention it has brought. On October 20, traders recorded a notable build-up of long positions on Bitfinex, coinciding with a 1.65% price move on Binance’s 30-minute XRP/USD chart. According to Squire, this movement was visually represented by a striking green column between 13:30 and 22:00 UTC, and Bitfinex data overlay showed a gain of 0.82% in long positions during that timeframe.
