The XRP Ledger’s latest proposed amendments, aimed at adding native lending functions and confidential token transfers, have yet to reach the approval level required for network activation. Data captured on October 15 shows that the LendingProtocol amendment received support from 19 out of 35 validators, while the ConfidentialTransfer proposal attracted 22 votes. Both proposals remain below the necessary supermajority threshold of 29 validators for amendment passage. Support for both the LendingProtocol and ConfidentialTransfer amendments has increased since late September. At that time, LendingProtocol had 15 validators in favor, while ConfidentialTransfer had won over 14.
