A conversation on Shiba Inu burning kicked off on social media X after SHIB community member Ed Salomons shared a screenshot of Shibarium-based burner Shibtorch's page on the official Shiba Inu website, shib.io, which returned the "failed to load burn" information, with an empty tab for SHIB in the total amount accumulated section. "Loading, constantly updating..." Salomons wrote, reiterating Shib Torch's founding concept that "every transaction will burn SHIB." Long-time SHIB community member Mazrael weighed in, explaining the reason for this. ShibTorch collects BONE from Shibarium fees, swaps its share to SHIB and burns it on Ethereum.
